The Game
A trading run across real routes
Route Wars turns a public transport route into a short market game. You pick a route, start with limited cash and backpack space, and move stop by stop while buying low, selling high, and reacting to changing conditions.
The core loop
Choose a route, check the current stop, compare prices, buy what fits, travel onward, and sell when the market moves in your favour. A good run is a mix of route knowledge, timing, restraint, and luck.
Trading items
Items have different backpack size, weight, attention, and volatility profiles. Some are compact but jumpy. Others are bulky, steadier, or more likely to draw attention during a run.
Events and alerts
Events can push prices, change the feel of a stop, or create short windows where one product becomes unusually attractive. Alerts explain what changed so decisions do not feel arbitrary.
Safe play
Route Wars is a game, not travel advice. Players should follow local laws, fare rules, operator instructions, and normal public-space etiquette. The game does not require unsafe travel or fare evasion.
