Cities
Cities are the game boards
Route Wars uses route-pattern data to turn supported public transport networks into playable maps. The current bundled database includes Helsinki, Hobart, Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, and Wellington.
HELHelsinkiA compact northern capital with trams, metro, buses, rail corridors, ferries, and strong stop-to-stop rhythm.HBAHobartA harbour city where short urban trips, radial corridors, and hill geography make route choice feel local.AKLTāmaki Makaurau / AucklandA large harbour city where buses, trains, ferries, and cross-isthmus movement create varied trading routes.WLGWellingtonA capital-region network shaped by harbour edges, rail lines, bus corridors, hills, and compact city movement.
How city support works
City support depends on usable public transport data, import quality, local testing, and product fit. A route feed can exist before the city is polished as a game experience.
Can I request a city?
Yes. Use the request-city page or the in-game route picker so demand is visible. Requests help prioritise future imports and testing.
