About

A game about buses, trains, timing, and terrible decisions.

Route Wars is inspired by classic buy-low, sell-high market games, rebuilt around public transport routes. The game app runs at play.rtwrs.com.

The public site keeps the evergreen bits here: what Route Wars is, how data is handled, how city requests work, and how to get in touch.

About Route Wars

Transport data

Provider keys belong server-side unless a provider says otherwise.

Public transport data should be imported or cached by Route Wars infrastructure and served through Route Wars endpoints. Provider API keys must not be placed in client-visible files unless the provider explicitly supports that use.

Player location is for finding nearby routes and checking stop arrival, not for building public tracking profiles.

Supported cities

Real route networks become playable city maps.

Ideas behind it

Public transport is already a board full of choices.
