About Route Wars

Route Wars is a mobile-first transit trading game inspired by classic buy-low, sell-high market games. Instead of moving around a fictional map, players pick a real public transport route, ride from stop to stop, and trade everyday commuter goods along the way.

Where it came from

Route Wars grew from the idea that public transport already has a game board: routes, stops, delays, timing, local habits, and the small rituals of moving through a city. The game turns that into a compact trading loop without pretending to be travel advice.

How routes work

The game uses public transport route data imported or cached by Route Wars infrastructure. The browser talks to Route Wars, not directly to transport providers, unless a provider explicitly supports direct browser use.

How cities arrive

More cities will come online over time. Open the game to check whether your city is supported yet. If not, the route picker can submit a city request so expansion demand is visible.
