How Route Wars pricing works

Route Wars pricing is meant to be readable enough for quick decisions and noisy enough that no route becomes a solved spreadsheet. The basic player question is always the same: is this item cheap here, expensive here, or too risky to bother with?

Normal ranges

Each product has a normal price range and a base value. The game uses those values to help classify whether the current price looks cheap, fair, expensive, or volatile.

Volatility and events

Some items swing harder than others. Events can add temporary pressure so a stop feels different from the last run through the same area.

What players should watch

Compare price, backpack space, attention, and how long you expect to hold an item. A cheap bulky item can still be a bad decision if it blocks better trades later.
